I had a nice time talking to you at the festival. I wanted to say that both my niece and nephew have Type I diabetes. My niece needed insulin at the age of 8 and my nephew around the age of 10. I don't know why they got it. No one else in the family had type I diabetes. Anyway, my niece and nephew both have monitors that alarm in the parent's bedroom. I can find out what kind it is if that would help you. Otherwise, I want you to know that your daughter is beautiful. Don't feel bad about not knowing that your child had diabetes sooner. I think it's very easy to miss the significance of the symptoms. And also that my niece and nephew have very active and good lives. I wish you and your family the best.
