Ask Me Anything > How well does the Omnipod stay on?

My daughter is 5, diagnosed with T1D in February 2013. We are investigating pumps and looking at Omnipod. I heard the Omnipod requires additional medical tape to be really secure. Is this true? Do you have any problems with a secure attachment? Where does Arden wear her pump most of the time?

Karen,

Arden has worn an OmniPod non-stop for over four years. We rarely have issues with adhesion and she plays sports. There have been a handful of times that we've used FlexiFix to reenforce one but those moments are few and far between. We remain very happy that we chose OmniPod!
