Good News, A Story and Art... oh my.

Arden had her quarterly Endocrinologist appointment today.  Her hemoglobin A1C was steady at 8.2!  She also has gained some weight, which made everyone very happy.  We discussed the leg cramps that arise when her BG is too high but mainly went over her care to ensure that we are doing everything we can as well as we can.

We have received another generous gift for Arden to auction!  This one is really great.  A HomePrint from Bucks County artist Celeste Accardi.  You really have to take a look if you are a proud home owner, need a house warming gift or have those parents that you just can’t think of a gift for anymore.  Celeste creates a beautiful piece of art from a photograph of your home.  Please take a peek!  Celeste is spectacularly talented, I think you all will be fighting over this one!  Follow the Arden’s Auction links for all of the details.

Lastly, a lot of people have asked us “how we knew” Arden had diabetes.  I’ve avoided answering as it is an unpleasant memory to call up.  Today for some reason I felt like I could do it.  So for those of you that are interested, I’ve tried to tell the story as best as I can.  You can follow the link at the top of the page or the one located here

Thank you for being a part of making Arden’s Day more hopeful!

I feel awkward acting like a salesman but please take another look at this auction.  The beautiful watercolor you'll receive is really magnificent!  Maybe it's because I've seen them in-person but I'm a bit surprised that this isn't a hot item on Arden's Auction.  I thought I'd be beating you all of with a stick...
